Poker networks initiate major software upgrades

PokerStars, iPoker and WPN offer additional features

Winning_TD, a twoplustwo forum poster from the Winner Poker Network, has announced that a substantial software update will be introduced to the Network in the next few days.

Among the new features will be preferred seating, on-demand tournaments, highlighted tables, auto timebank, folded cards, ante animations and straddle notifications.

Players at the iPoker Network can look forward to an update which will soon be rolled out. It will include late Sit & Go tournaments registration, cash game timebanks that are customizable for ring game players as well as notifications in the form of pop-ups appearing in the taskbar.

Also, PokerStars is able to release a new upgrade. It will offer minor fixes of bugs and an extraslider button for betting for its desktop client. The newly created Mac Cocoa API will be deployed to remaining licenses after being updated. It has an initial Retina support for native OS controls and text.
