Marketing team grants experience from Paddy Power

Paddy Power, the leading online and retail sportsbetting provider has said that the experienced team Robin Auld and Danny Russell are in Feb joining the company's marketing team.

It was revealed by the Dublin based Paddy Power that Russell will start working from Feb 15 as an Insight Director while its Brand Director is to become Auld. Both will have to directly report at the same time to Christian Woolfenden, their marketing director.

As a BSkyB marketing strategy director, prior to joining the company, Russell was responsible for content, consumer and market research, customer engagement, segment strategy, insight and competitor intelligence. Prior to this he has served as British Airways Planning Manager and has been appointed to senior roles for marketing research for Kraft Jacob Suchard and Boots Healthcare International.

Auld has spent for his part working as a consultant for the last two years in addition to his role as a Domino's Germany Marketing and Sales Director. For Franchise Brands Worldwide and Deliverance Limited he was also a non-executive director and previously held a position as the Domino's UK Marketing and Sales Director.

As Woolfenden pointed out, "Robin and Danny are innovative, hugely creative and experienced individuals with great history records in a wide range of brands, sectors and companies."

The hiring of Proctor and Gamble's Mark Singleton during the last month started the continuation of these appointments. He is to serve as Sportsbook Marketing Head together with Claire Davies appointed as Head of Media and Public Relations.
